The Bizzarrini lineup: features and equipment packages

The Italian car brand Bizzarrini was founded in 1964 by ex-Ferrari engineer Giotto Bizzarrini. He had left Ferrari after a disagreement with Enzo Ferrari and decided to start his marque. The company's first production model was the GT 5300 Strada, which featured a modern steel chassis and a 5.3L V12 engine based on a Ferrari design. Bizzarrini also produced several racing cars, such as the P538 and P140A, which were used by private teams in competitions like the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The company went bankrupt in 1969, but its legacy lives on. Today, the brand is remembered for its engineering excellence and daring designs. The surviving Bizzarrini cars are highly sought after by collectors and remain some of the most unique vehicles ever created. Even today, Giotto Bizzarrini's name remains synonymous with Italian sports car excellence.

The Bizzarrini cars had excellent fuel consumption, with the 5300 Strada achieving an impressive fuel economy of 20 mpg. This was achieved through a combination of lightweight construction and efficient fuel delivery systems. Read more
