Acceleration to 100 km/h

The Cadillac BLS is a mid-size luxury car that was in production from 2006 to 2009. It was designed and manufactured by the Swedish automaker Saab, and it was sold as a Cadillac in Europe and other export markets.

The BLS featured an upscale interior with leather trim, wood accents, optional navigation system, climate control air conditioning, power windows, and power door locks. It was available with a range of engine choices including a 2.0-liter turbocharged gas-powered four-cylinder as well as several diesel options.

Performance-wise, the BLS offered good acceleration and handling for its class. The engines were rated from 140 horsepower to 210 horsepower depending on the version selected. The BLS was equipped with a manual transmission or an optional five-speed automatic. It had MacPherson strut front suspension with anti-roll bar, and independent rear suspension with semi-trailing arms.

The Cadillac BLS also featured several safety features including antilock brakes (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), driver and passenger dual-stage front airbags, side curtain airbags for both rows of seating, and optional rear parking sensors. Read more
