The Mitsubishi Challenger, also known as the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in many markets, was Mitsubishi's answer to the growing demand for robust SUVs. Originally introduced in the late 1990s, this mid-size SUV showcased Mitsubishi's off-road pedigree while ensuring the comforts of a city vehicle.

Engine Configurations: Over its various generations, the Challenger was outfitted with several engine options, including 2.5-liter and 3.2-liter turbodiesel engines and a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine, among others.

Power Output: Depending on the chosen engine, power outputs ranged from around 114 hp to a more robust 197 hp for the V6 variants.

Performance: The Challenger's highlight was its off-road prowess. With Mitsubishi's Super Select 4WD system, it provided excellent grip and performance on a variety of terrains.

The Challenger's design, while evolving over its generations, always maintained a rugged appeal. Its boxy yet modern aesthetic, combined with practical dimensions, made it a favorite among off-road enthusiasts and urban dwellers alike. Read more
