Acceleration to 100 km/h

The Škoda 110, also known as the Škoda 110R Coupé, was a vehicle produced by Czech automaker Škoda between 1970 and 1980. This compact sports car became an icon for Škoda, and its production was primarily during an era of automotive industry innovation and transformation.

The Škoda 110R Coupé was equipped with a rear-mounted, 1.1-liter four-cylinder, water-cooled engine. It produced 52 horsepower and 69.4 pound-feet of torque, offering a respectable power output for its size and time. The power was transferred to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox.

Given its sporty design and modest engine, the Škoda 110R provided competent performance characteristics for its era. It could reach a top speed of around 140 km/h (87 mph), and its acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) took approximately 19 seconds.

Despite its sporty design, the 110R was not a true sports car in terms of raw performance. Still, its rear-engine layout provided excellent traction, and its lightweight construction made it agile and fun to drive. Read more
