The Škoda Citigo, launched in 2011, is a testament to Škoda's evolution as an automaker. Developed as a city car, it is the Czech manufacturer's entry-level offering in their lineup. The Citigo shares its platform with the Volkswagen Up! and Seat Mii, and it was produced in both three-door and five-door hatchback variants.
The Citigo came equipped with either a 1.0-litre MPI three-cylinder petrol engine or an electric motor in the Citigo-e iV variant. The petrol engine was available in two versions - one producing 60 horsepower and another with 75 horsepower. Both versions of the engine were mated to a five-speed manual transmission, with an optional five-speed automatic available.
In the all-electric Citigo-e iV, launched in 2019, the vehicle came with an electric motor that delivers 83 horsepower and 210 Nm of torque, paired with a single-speed transmission.
The petrol-engined Citigo reaches 0-100 km/h in about 13.5 seconds (60HP) or 12.7 seconds (75HP), with a top speed of 170 km/h. The car's compact size and light weight make it nimble and ideal for city driving. Read more
