The Volkswagen Eos is a two-door convertible made by the German automaker Volkswagen from 2006 to 2015. It featured a retractable hardtop, offering drivers the convenience of a coupe with the open-air enjoyment of a convertible. The vehicle was powered by a 2.0L Turbocharged FSI engine that produced 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque, with a six-speed automatic transmission providing gear changes. The Eos also offered features such as rain-sensing windshield wipers and a dual-zone climate control system. Safety was also improved on the Eos with four airbags and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) to help reduce the risk of skidding. Overall, the Eos provided drivers with a good blend of performance, convenience and comfort.

The Volkswagen Eos quickly became a popular vehicle for buyers looking to combine everyday practicality with an open-air driving experience. It was praised by many critics for its combination of style, power and tech features. Over the course of its nine-year production run, the Volkswagen Eos sold more than 113,000 units worldwide. It was discontinued in 2015 following the introduction of the new VW Golf Cabriolet. Read more
