Acceleration to 100 km/h

Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano represented a new pinnacle of performance in Ferrari's lineup of grand touring vehicles. Named after the company's test track, the Fiorano, the 599 signified the car's engine displacement (5,999 cc), a trait traditional to Ferrari's naming practice.

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano features a 6.0-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine derived from the Ferrari Enzo – the brand's flagship supercar at the time. This potent engine delivers a staggering 612 horsepower and 608 Nm of torque. With this power, the 599 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in a blistering 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of over 330 km/h (205 mph).

The 599 was also the first production Ferrari to be equipped with an F1-derived electronic traction control system, F1-Trac. This system was designed to maximize the performance of the 599 on the track while still providing stability and control during everyday driving.

The exterior design of the 599 GTB Fiorano was crafted by Pininfarina, Ferrari's longtime design partner. Read more
