As its name suggests, the F8 Tributo is a tribute to Ferrari's award-winning V8 engine, featuring the most powerful V8 in Ferrari's history for a non-special series car, and marking a significant evolution over the Ferrari 488.
The F8 Tributo's design embodies a balance between aggressive sporting characteristics and harmonious aerodynamic efficiency. Penned by Ferrari's own design center, the F8 Tributo integrates features from previous iconic models, such as the louvered rear glass reminiscent of the legendary F40. The aerodynamics have been significantly improved compared to the 488, with a 15% increase in downforce.
The F8 Tributo is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine that produces 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. The iconic Manettino switch remains, allowing drivers to select between different driving modes.
A new feature for the F8 Tributo is the Human Machine Interface (HMI) which further improves the interaction between driver and car. The traditional tachometer is flanked by digital displays, providing information tailored to the chosen Manettino setting.
