In the spring of 2023, Mazda introduced the CX-90 for the 2024 model-year. Unlike other manufacturers following the trend of downsizing, Mazda opted to go against this trend and offer a larger SUV. The CX-90 is designed to compete with premium vehicles, rather than vehicles from Honda or Hyundai. It is a spacious, three-row family vehicle with an entirely new range of drivetrains.
The CX-90 has a distinct Mazda look, including a front fascia featuring daytime running lights that connect the headlights to the main grille. The LED DRLs inside the headlamps are C-shaped, adding a unique touch. The carmaker also added fake vents on the front fenders with either "Inline six" or "PHEV" lettering based on the engine version. With a stretched platform and long cabin, the CX-90 has an imposing appearance.
The carmaker packed the interior with luxurious and comfortable features, including a unique fabric-covered dashboard. The front seats were separated by a wide center console that held the gear selector and two cup holders. Mazda also placed the infotainment controls within reach. Read more
